Field trippers may meet informally for carpooling in the staff parking lot of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer Street, Halifax. The staff parking lot is on the north side of the Museum and access to this parking lot is a little further down Summer Street. This is an informal arrangement and drives for those without their own transportation are not guaranteed. For those riding with others, help with the gas expenses is always appreciated. All participants in HFN activities are responsible for their own safety.

Always wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather, the activity and the terrain.

If in doubt contact the trip leader or the Programme Committee.
